Morroco spine label with git title. Gilt line decorations. See images. Very good condition. Rubbed, bumped and age darkened. Internally dust dulled and damp stained (see images). A few neat annotations. Small wormholes to some pages, not affecting text. Overall a very nice copy. Rev. Paul O’Brien was appointed to the professorship of the Irish language at Maynooth In 1802. He wrote and published this Irish grammar in 1809 for use by the clerical students there and continued as professor of Irish until his death in 1820.
