Corners and spine bumped and worn. Outer joints started to crack, but still holding. Spine worn with some loss. Spine paper label partially missing. Front hinge broken. Label ‘De La Bibliotheque – 1785’ glued to front pastedown. Marbled end papers and edges faded. Pages age darkened. Some browning and foxing to some pages. Foreword page (Avant-Propos) torn and repaired with a piece of paper stuck on. Despite the wear, this is still a nice little book to hold.
