Binding rubbed and bumped. Edges and end papers dust dulled. Inscription on verso of front free end paper. Binding weakened but holding. Internally clean. A very nice copy of this scarce work.

Note: The List of Illustrations lists two Plates for the Monuments of 1. William Robertson and 2. William Adams, Architect at pages 194 and 196. Both Monuments are shown together on one Plate only, which is located opposite page 194.
