Original brown cloth with black and gilt line decorations. Gilt title on front board and spine. Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped. Binding weak, but holding. Both hinges cracked. Paper label with name and address of previous owner on front free end paper. Red ink stamp with name and address of another previous owner on half title page and Preface page. Top corner of half title page cleanly cut out. Signature of another previous owner on verso of frontispiece. Frontispiece cleanly cut off, but present. Underlining and interesting neat annotations in pencil.
