With a Frontispiece and six Plates (complete). Many tables and charts in text, some folding. Original pale cloth with gilt title on spine. Very good condition. Binding rubbed, bumped and dust dulled. Edges and end papers dust dulled. Neat inscription by the authors for her parents (‘To Mummy and Daddy who have watched this book grow…’) dated Feb. 48. Some damp staining to bottom, mainly to binding, end papers and first few pages. Inscribed by the author.
