Each volume features a frontispiece in B&W. Vol. 1,2 & 4: Half Leather with marbled boards. Vol.3 Full Leather. Good condition. All volumes with solid bindings. No lose pages. Severe rubbing and bumping to boards, spine and corners. Four out of eight black lables missing from spines. Some labes were replaced by handwritten titles and volume numbers on spine. Some inner hinges starting to open. Some outer joints cracked. Indications of previous repair work or re-binding. Browning and foxing inside. Some tears and small paper losses to some pages.
