Edges and end papers dust dulled and partly browned. With a gift inscription: ‘To Brookie with Love from [Buster?] 1960. This may complete your collection – it is perhaps fitting that its the German edition.’ Dust jacket age darkened and rubbed. Small paper losses to glassine wrapper. Internally clean.

Original stiff paperboards in original decorated dust jacket, now in archival jackets. All edges deckle. Good condition. Minor shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Mostly unopened. First and last pages of both volumes are damp stained.
