For list of Plates per volume, please see comments. Contemporary uniform calf. Spine label with title in gilt. Gilt decorations on spine. Raised bands. Red speckled edges. All volumes in very good condition, except for Vol. 5, which is seriously damaged by bookworm. All volumes rubbed and bumped. Age darkened edges and end papers. Very few annotations. Top edge of volume 19 marked with red felt pen. Internally age darkened with the occasional closed tear. Some plates with closed tears and poor folding. Overall a very nice and interesting set with some amazing Plates and Maps.

Modern fine quarter calf over marbled boards. Red spine label with title in gilt. gilt and blind decorations to spine. New end papers. Very good condition. Some dust dulling to edges. Occasional very mild spotting. Very few descriptive pencil annotations. Internally very clean. A lovely copy in an attractive sturdy binding.

Contemporary quarter calf over marbled boards. Good condition only. Binding severely rubbed and bumped with material losses to corners. Age darkened throughout. Occasional foxing / browning. Small bookseller label and Ex Libris of previous owner on front past down. Some ink stains in red and black. Red ink used on title page engraving (see image). A very good reading copy or candidate for rebinding.

Two Volumes. London, George Virtue, ND [1840s]. 27 x 21 cm. Vol.1: 170 pages & 62 Plates / Vol.2: 186 pages & 60 Plates. Lacks portrait of Mr. Willis, otherwise contains all Plates as listed. The Plates of ‘Carrickfergus Castle’ and ‘Carrigogunnell Castle’ are both present but are in each others place. Uniform contemporary half calf over cloth covered boards. Black spine label with gilt title. See images. Very good condition. Complete with all Plates with the exception of the listed Portrait of Mr. Willis, which appears to be missing from all copies. Sturdy bindings, but rubbed and bumped with minor losses. Internally clean, with occasonal mild foxing / age darkening. Name of previous owner neatly inscribed. Small name & address sticker of another owner on front paste downs. A very nice set.

Binding rubbed and bumped. Edges and end papers dust dulled. folding map with long closed tear, which has been repaired in the back. Internally bright and clean. A very nice copy with interesting Maps and Plates. See images.
