Very good condition. Minor shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Edges and end papers dust dulled. Two identical inscriptions on front paste down and title page (‘Hickham Loan Library, January 1st 1852’) in ink. No stamps etc. Internally clean.

Blue cloth boards with brown spine (discolored?). Gilt title and author on spine. Decorative blind stamping on boards and spine. Very good to good condition. Some shelf wear. Corners and spine a little bumped. Not clear whether spine is discolored by age or was brown originally. Some foxing and age darkening. Name of previous owner inscribed on front free end paper. Internally mildly age darkened / dust dulled, otherwise clean. Edge of one folding Table age darkened and frayed. Some Plates appear to be trimmed (actual page size is 23.8 cm x 15 cm).
