Half of page 375 missing, some small tears, dog ears etc. Clean copy without annotation marks etc.

New (2024) uniform red quarter cloth over marbled paper boards. New end papers. (see images). Very good condition. Paper mildly age darkened. Edges age darkened. The last section of the 1772 volume (parts of the supplement and the index) are damp stained. The text remains fully readable with the exception of the last few Index pages which are somewhat damp damaged. Overall a very good set.

Minor fraying to spine ends. Dust dulled. Occassional some mild browning / foxing. Internally clean. All 12 plates with tissue guards.

Some age darkening to binding. Edges dust dulled. Front hinge started to crack, but binding remains sound. Prize Inscription on first blank, dated May 22, 1877. Internally mildly age darkened / foxed, otherwise clean. A very nice copy. Please review images provided.
