Contemporary speckled calf. Blind line decorations. Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped with some material losses to corners, spine ends and boards (see images). Front and rear hinge started, but binding remains sound. Raised bands. Edges and end papers age darkened. Faint name of previous owner on title page. Internally age darkened and occasionally foxed. Overall still a nice sound copy.

Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped. Age darkened. Front hinge started to crack (c. 4 cm). Sound binding. Small ink notes on verso of ffep. Name of previous owner inked out on title page (see images). Internally age darkened, but clean. Two books in one.

Original cloth boards with gilt title and decorations, blind stamping and a colour image on the front board. Very good condition. Inscription on front free end paper dated 1908. Some browning and foxing to pages and edges. Some rubbing and bumping to spine and corners.

Sister Dora Collection. A small collection of printed materials relating to Sister Dora consisting of Margaret Lonsdale’s book ‘Sister Dora. A Biography’ (1880 Edition), A commemorative brochure, edited by Dorothy Tutlin (1978), Six early 20th century post cards, two stamp first day covers (1978 & 1982), a newspaper article and an old mounted photgraph of a ‘Presentation to Sister Dora’ in June 1873. All items can be seen in attached photographs.

Front free end paper lost two corners. Internally mildly foxed and age darkened. A few annotations in text. Binding sound, but a few pages lose.
