Front and rear hinges start to open, but binding still sound. Small amount of foxing to end papers.

Name of previous owner (‘James Kirkwood ?, Woodbrook, Sep. 13th, 1826’) on title page in ink. Small bookseller label on front paste down. See images. A good rerading copy of the now scarce first edition.

Ex Libris on front paste downs. Name of previous owner on front free end papers, dated 1787. Internally mildly age darkened, but otherwise very clean. A very nice copy.
