Corners worn with some material losses (see images), Edges and end papers age darkened. Internally dust dulled and mildly foxed. Small bookseller sticker on front pastedown.Name of previous owner in ink on verso of front free end paper.

Dark green morocco with elaborate gilt decorations to spine and boards.All edges gilt. Marbled end papers. Very good condition. Boards, corners and spine rubbed and bumped. Spine and edges age darkened. Internally dust dulled with occassional mild foxing. Some water staining.

The missing plate is Paris ‘Boulevard des Italiens’. Contemporary half calf. Textured cloth boards. Spine label and gilt decorations. Very good condition. Severe rubbing and abrasions to binding (see images). Internally age darkened and damp stained in places (mainly title page – see images). Most of the plates are clean with some age darkening towards the edges of the page. Overall still a nice copy.
