New York, Grosset & Dunlap, 1923. 12.5 x 19cm. 307 pages, with black and white plates. Original hardcover. Good condition with some signs of wear, mild foxing to edges, small tear to front endpaper. Little Old New York was originally written as a play by Rida Johnson Young, which opened on Broadway in September 1920. In 1923, it was made into a silent film starring Marion Davies and directed by Sidney Olcott. The film was produced by William Randolph Hearst’s Cosmopolitan company. This edition of the book was published to coincide with the film and includes black and white plates of photo stills from the production.
