This appears to be the true first edition of this story in book form.
According to Wikipedia this short story by Maurice Walsh was first published in the Saturday Evening Post in 1933 and appeared later as part of a collection of short stories titled ‘The Green Rushes’ (1935).
WorldCAT lists only a 1939 copy by the same publisher and states that: No libraries on WorldCAT.org hold this item.
This 1933 copy would as such be the first time ‘The Quiet Man’ appeared in bookform.
