Vol.1: xii, 416 pages w/ four coloured Plates / Vol.2: 416 pages w/ 13 coloured Plates / Vol.3: 424 pages w/ 4 coloured Plates / Vol.4: 452 pages w/ 4 coloured Plates. 25 coloured Plates in total, incl. coloured Frontispieces and title page in volume 1. Contemporary full calf. Gilt and blind decorations to spine. Good condition only, due to missing Plates and missing pages (pages 221 – 228 in volume 2 & 341 – 346 in volume 3). Bindings rubbed and bumped. A few joints cracked. Edges and end papers age darkened / dust dulled. Occasional mild foxing. Some dog ears and missing small corners (not affecting text readability).
