Vol.2: 64 pages plus 24 pages photographs plus 48 pages illustrated ‘Key to Wildfowl of the World’ by Peter Scott. The original paperback covers are bound in with the rest of the reports. Quarter green Morocco over white Morocco boards. Gilt title and decorations. Light blue end papers. Very good condition. Boards, corners and spine rubbed and bumped. Age darkened. Inscribed, otherwise bright and clean.

Provenance: From the Library of Sir Alan Francis Brook, Field Marshal Alanbrooke, 1st Viscount Alanbrooke.
This is a specially leather-bound copy, prepared for the then President of the Severn Wildfowl Trust, Field Marshal Alanbrooke. The inscription by Peter Scott (then Director of the Trust) reads:
’These copies of the first two reports of the Severn Wildfowl Trust were bound by a member: Mrs. Claude Mullens and send to the President: Lord Alanbrooke by the Director: Peter Scott.
At Christmas, with all best wishes for 1950.’
There are two small original ink drawings on top and bottom of the inscription. A unique volume.
The original reports are nicely illustrated throughout with photographs and drawings by Peter Scott.
