Otherwise a very nice copy from the library of publisher Edmund Downey (not inscribed).

Single library stamp (‘Colaiste Moibi’) and three numbers on front free end paper. Edges and end papers age darkened. Small red stain on page iii (see image). Internally bright and clean without annotations, underlining etc.

Faint damp staining and some repairs to some pages & plates. Gift inscription (‘The Right Honourable Nathanial Earl of Leitrim’s Gift to James [O’Fair?] 15th January 1826’) in ink on title page.

There is a losely inserted Indian Telegraph strip paper. The telegraph is dated 18-12-91 and addressed to Meerut.
