Otherwise internally very clean. A very nice copy.

Age darkened and stained. Remains of a paper sticker (ex library?) on front board. Front hinge open and end paper nearly detached. Edges and end papers age darkened. Occasional mild foxing, but internally clean.

Red edges. Very good condition. Some shelf wear, rubbing and bumping. Gilt dentelles. Front free end paper and frontispiece cleanly removed, leaving two stubs (see images). Old signature on front paste down. Old Ex Libris Inscription, dated 1685 on rear paste down (upside down). Tiny book worm holes to a few pages (not affecting text). Small corner missing bottom right of page 203 (not affecting text). Overall a very nice clean copy in a sturdy binding.
