First Edition. Dublin, Printed for Luke White, 1786. 26 x 22 cm. This copy lacks the folding map, title page and list of subscribers ! Pages ix-xv [Introduction], 18 numbered Plates, pages xvii-xxiii [A Concise Account…], 820 pages, (10) [Index & Errata], two blanks. Contemporary olive green morroco. Hard cover with gilt and blind decorations. Marbled edges and end papers. Good condition only, due to the lack of the folding map, title page and list of subscribers. Map and title page are included as facsimiles (losely inserted A4 Prints). Binding rubbed and bumped. Edges age darkened. Binding tender with front hinge cracked. Front free end paper and first blank coming lose, but still attached. Names of previous owners inscribed on Introduction page. Name of Author also inscribed on Introduction Page. Small libary stamp (see image). Internally a little dust dulled, but otherwise clean. A very good reading / research copy of this scarce item.

Vol.2 with 10 engraved Plates, nine of which are full page. Rebound in modern fine red half morocco over cloth covered boards. Two blue spine labels per volume with gilt titles and authors. Gilt decorations. New marbled end papers. Very good conditions. Solid bindings with minimal shelf wear. Name of previous owner on title pages scratched out. Internally age darkened and foxed to various, but generally mild degree. A very good set.
