Early 20th Century Lady’s Travel Autograph Book. Small handwritten book with numerous text pages, pencil drawings, small paintings and sketches. The book appears to have belonged to a ‘Miss Hayden’, but most of the entries were made in various places in France, such as Paris, Deauville, Fontainebleau, Nice and others. Entries are dated between 1909 and c. 1920.

15 x 15 cm. c. 80 pages, some left blank. Maroon cloth boards. Hard cover. Inside a homemade linen cover (see images). Marbled end papers. Very good condition. Linen cover worn and stained. See images. A unique Item.

Handwritten Manuscript Book of [Anglican] Sermons and Prayers. First Heading is ‘First Sunday after Easter’. Last Heading reads ‘Twenty-fourth Sunday after Trinity’. A remarkably well executed handwritten manuscript book.

ND [assumed 19th century]. 23 x 16 cm. C. 170 handwritten pages. Writing in black with red ink annotations. See images. Full vellum. String sown. Two functional brass clasps [‘Truscott London’]. Red speckled edges. Very good condition. Binding darkened and scratched. Some rubbing and bumping. Front joint started to crack. Minor material losses to top end of spine. Internally very clean. Occasional dust dulling.

Early Victorian Album. [A well executed Victorian Album with prose and poetry, and neat original drawings and water colours].

C.1840s. 20 x 16 cm. 106 pages; some coloured, some embossed, with tipped in images and letters, some drawings in colour and B&W. Contemporary cloth. Front board covered with blind stamped leather cover. Red textured end papers. All edges gilt. Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped. Binding shaky, but holding. Some remnants of early tape repairs. Internally dust dulles, a few mild stains and closed tears. A fascinating piece.
