Red morocco spine label with gilt title. Very good condition. Age darkened, rubbed and bumped. Top of spine expertly repaired with marching patch (see images). Occasional mild damp staining / foxing. A few pages with a dark stain (ink?). Overall in excellent condition. The Title page of volume one refers to publication year 1770, while the title page of volume 2 states 1769 as the year of publication.
