Raised bands. Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped. Age darkened. Front hinge started to crack (c. 4 cm). Sound binding. Small ink notes on verso of ffep. Name of previous owner inked out on title page (see images). Internally age darkened, but clean. Two books in one.

Note: this copy contains two title pages for the John Locke book, stating 1738 and 1737 (Tenth Edition) as the publishing years.
