Occasional very mild foxing. A very nice copy in a very fine binding.

To which is added, Sir Henry Tichborne’s History of the Siege of Drogheda, in the Year 1641. As also the whole Tryal of Connor Lord Macguire, with the perfect copies of the Indictment, and all the Evidences against him. Together with the Pope’s Bull to the Confederate Catholicks in Ireland.

Contemporary full calf with black spine label. Gilt title and five raised bands. Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped. Age darkened throughout. Rear joint started to crack from the top. Binding sound. Ex Libris of previous owner on front paste down (‘Thomas Brownrigg’). Small bookseller stamp, just below. Front hinge started to crack. Lower corner of page 1 missing, not affecting text. Internally clean. A very nice copy of this scarce Cork publication.
