Contemporary boards, later rebacked in a matching style with new leather spine. Very good condition. Binding rubbed and bumped. Age darkened throughout. Occassional mild foxing. lacks front free end paper, folded plate and map. Name of previous owner neatly inscribed on title page. A few nicks, dog ears and closed tears. Internally clean. A nice little book with some striking illustrations of Polar Bear (‘White Bear’), Shooting Sea Horses, Manner of Travelling in Kamchatka and others.
