Original blue cloth hard cover with black titles on front board and spine. Very good condition. Rubbed and bumped. Small material loss to spine. Edges and end papers dust dulled and browned. Occasional mild foxing. Names of various previous owners incl. ‘K. Brooke’ ? on front free end paper. Internally clean. Provenance: From the Library of Sir Alan Francis Brooke, Field Marshal Alanbrooke, 1st Viscount Alanbrooke. Most likely belonged to Alanbrooke’s daughter, Kathleen Brooke.
