Decorated paper covered boards. See images. No frontispiece. Plates as described above. Text block trimmed. Age darkened and browned / foxed in places. Shelf wear. Some plates edge worn and some cuts. Minor paper losses. One page (page 51 of the Appendix) has been used by a child for writing exercises. The last two pages (53-54) are missing from the appendix. Despite the losses this remains a very interesting book with many fascinating Illustrations.
