Including one colour Plate (XXXIX) which is at times used as a Frontispiece, but is bound here in the correct position between pages 56 and 57. Dark green half calf over marbled boards. Dark red spine label with gilt title. Marbled end papers. Very good condition. Binding severely rubbed and bumped. Corners worn with some material losses (see images), Edges and end papers age darkened. Internally dust dulled and mildly foxed. Small bookseller sticker on front pastedown.Name of previous owner in ink on verso of front free end paper.
